Butler University Science Complex Renovations

A project to promote hands-on learning, flexibility, and adaptability.

Installation Details

To stay current with academic trends and teaching methods, Butler University invested $100 million in the construction and renovation of its science facilities. The new Levinson Family Hall connects two 70s-era buildings: Gallahue Hall and Holcomb Building. The project places all science departments under one roof and introduces modern labs and classrooms to foster collaboration between students, faculty, and staff.

Cramer installed 569 Citrus chairs in high-tech classrooms and labs that mimic top research company configurations. Workspaces promote collaboration, enhance flexibility, and allow teachers to join students in a hands-on approach to learning. Overall, lab space was increased by 52 percent through the renovation.
