Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory

Clark & Enersen is leading the study and design of the University of Missouri’s new 85,000-square-foot Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory. Replacing the existing facility, it supports Missouri’s only Level 1 NAHLN-accredited diagnostic lab and includes Tier 1 FDA veterinary lab spaces. The project is being executed in two phases to maintain ongoing operations during construction and will ultimately enhance biosecurity, laboratory performance, and educational infrastructure. The facility houses advanced diagnostic labs, necropsy rooms, BSL-2 and BSL-3 labs, classrooms, teaching labs, and meeting spaces—all contributing to the College of Veterinary Medicine’s mission.
In such a highly specialized, high-performance facility, quality seating is essential to supporting both the precision and endurance required in veterinary diagnostics and research. Lab technicians, educators, and students spend extended periods conducting analyses and performing procedures that demand concentration and physical stability. Ergonomically designed, durable seating helps reduce fatigue, improve posture, and minimize the risk of strain or injury. High-quality seating in both lab and teaching environments not only contributes to user well-being but also directly supports accuracy, efficiency, and overall lab safety—critical components in a Tier 1 diagnostic facility.
