Indiana State Police Forensic Labs

Indiana law enforcement utilize Helix in new lab space.

Installation Details

The newly designed Indiana State Police Forensic Labs were built in response to an influx of evidence processed in Indianapolis and provide more space for the team. The modern 40,000 square foot facility replaces an 8,000 square foot facility. Architecture firm, Ratio, built three new regional forensic labs in Evansville, Fort Wayne and Lowell. The goal was to modernize and expand the departments lab services that serve the communities across the state.  The facilities serve as a recruitment tool for potential new officers and technicians and will help address crime in real time and reduce backlogs.
